Office Vacancy Information
Kojimachi, Kioicho, and Hirakawacho are quiet areas with a calm atmosphere. In Hirakawacho, there are a number of halls for various organizations, such as the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Japan Hall and the All Japan Tokyo Hall.
Along with Bancho and Kojimachi, Hirakawa-cho prospered as an "Oyashiki-machi" (mansion town) where residences of high-ranking samurai families such as daimyo and Hatamoto residences were concentrated. Although market rents for office buildings are high, the area is popular among consulting firms and foreign-affiliated companies because of its quiet and elegant office environment in a prime central Tokyo location.
Nagatacho Station and Akasaka-mitsuke Station have exits under Aoyama-dori Avenue, served by the Yurakucho, Hanzomon, Nanboku, Ginza, and Marunouchi Lines. Kojimachi Station and Hanzomon Station are also available in the northern part of Hirakawacho, making the area highly convenient for transportation. Kaizaka Dori runs north-south through the center of the town area, and Aoyama Dori runs along the southern edge.
